Launched in 2025, Team Shelby Racing South Africa was created to give Shelby owners the opportunity to experience their vehicles in the environment they were built for - competition.

Inspired by Carroll Shelby's racing philosophy and the global Shelby legacy, the program brings together passionate owners who compete in some of South Africa's most prestigious motorsport events using their own Shelby vehicles.

Today, the team consists of Shelby customers racing their personally owned Shelby vehicles alongside members of Lindenberg Racing, including Paige Lindenberg in the Shelby Speedster and James Temple in the Shelby Daytona. Together they represent the performance, passion and competitive spirit that have defined Shelby for generations.

From its debut at the Simola Hillclimb to appearances at events such as the Festival of Motoring, Cape Town Hillclimb and Top of the Hill Challenge, Team Shelby Racing showcases the capability and heritage of the Shelby marque on track. More than just a racing team, it is a community of enthusiasts united by a shared passion for driving, competition and the Shelby name.
